Sociology of Sects and Alternative Religious Movements 3 (1-2s-0-0-0)

This course explores religion as a socially generative cultural formation. Combining theoretical insights and thematic analysis, the course examines the dynamics that foster sects and alternative religious movements, as well as the socio-historical legacies of these movements.

Prerequisites: (Sociology 332 or Sociology 376 and 2nd year standing required) or Consent of Department
