Clinical Supervision 3 (0-3s-0-0-0)

This course will introduce students to the theory, research, and practice of competency-based supervision in the field of clinical psychology. Students will become familiar with the professional literature relevant to supervision, supervision models, gain competency with ethical, culturally-competent clinical supervision, and explore their own development as a supervisor. Students will participate in clinical supervision of practicum students in earlier years of their program, and will receive supervision of their supervision.

Note: This course may be taken for credit twice. This course is open to Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology students only.

Prerequisites: Psychology (Graduate Studies) 842 and Consent of Department
