This course involves an off-campus field placement. Students work under the supervision of a cooperating agency professional to gain experience in the field. Field placements include hospitals, educational and forensic institutions, private practices, and other agencies. In addition to the Field Supervisor, each student is assigned to a Faculty Advisor and a Field Placement Coordinator who acts as a liaison between the student and the outside agency. Seminars are held to complement placement experiences. Prerequisites: Psychology 486 and 4th year standing required and instructor approval and special conditions as specified below |
