This course will provide students with a foundation in positive psychology/the science of well-being. This course will trace the evolution of positive psychology from its roots to its current state, including foundational and emerging theories. Evidence-based mechanisms and pathways conducive to individual and societal well-being are explored while engaging students in practical applications of the science to their own lives. Prerequisites: Psychology 104 [C- minimum grade required] and Psychology 105 [C- minimum grade required] and 2nd year standing required |
