Introductory quantum mechanics with emphasis on applications in chemistry and physics. Angular momentum, variation principle, potential well, hydrogen atom, molecular orbital theory, SCF Hartree Fock approximation, and Ab Initio vs Semiempirical methods. Spectroscopy and correlated treatments.

Credit Restriction: Credit may be obtained for only one of Physics 301 or Chemistry 482
