The course presents an overview of the audit framework, as well as the internal audit functions and procedures related to business operating cycles. Auditing standards, governance considerations, risk analysis, internal controls testing, as well asthe fundamentals of planning, performing, and completing an audit project are addressed. Students are exposed to various auditing fundamentals, guidelines,and best practices, laying the foundation for an overall robust understanding of audit processes.

Note: Open only to students in the Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance and Master of Information Systems Assurance Management programs.
