A practical "hands on" course which examines small computing systems and is designed to give students the opportunity to interact with most small operating systems and several types of peripheral devices. Understanding how computer installations work, including local 'LANS' and wide area networks. The theory and principles involved in successfully operating a computer system.

Note: This course is not accepted for credit toward the Computing Science minor.

Prerequisites: Computing Science 111 and 2nd year standing required
