An introduction to investigative principles and protocols as they apply to environmental health. Developing and applying models for inspection, investigation and risk analysis to secure data on which to base informed decisions. Case scenarios introduce students to areas of current jurisdiction, including food establishments, personal care facilities, housing, aquatic facilities, insect and vermin control, communicable disease control, nuisances and general sanitation, and other programs where public health protection is mandated.
