Biodiversity & Ecology of Alberta 3 (3-0-0-0-0)

An exploration of the ecology and biodiversity of Alberta by examining the interaction of abiotic and biotic features that characterize different natural regions 'and subregions'. Various factors influencing geographic variation and biodiversity in the region are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the distribution, diversity, and life histories of well-represented macro flora and fauna found across prominent unique regions.

Credit Restriction: Credit may be obtained for only one of ECOL 211 or Biology 211 or Environmental Science 210 or ECOL 211 or BES 210

Prerequisites: Biology 100 or Biology/Environmental Science 108 and 2nd year standing required
Corequisites: Academic Integrity Training 100
