Fundamentals of Theatrical Design 3 (3-0-0-0-0)

This class covers the fundamentals of theatrical design in set, lighting and sound. Students will learn to observe environments from a designer's perspective and discover how to implement those observations on the stage in various forms. In addition, the relationship between the designer and the director will be explored as well as timelines and project management for designers. Students will also learn the fundamentals of creating a scale model. This class includes lectures, demonstrations and practical experience.

Prerequisites: Drama 276 and 2nd year standing required
