Introduction to Computing Science 3 (3-0-3-0-0)

An overview of computing science concepts. Topics include representation of data; machine architecture; operating systems; properties of algorithms and computational problems; syntax of the high-level procedural programming language 'C'; basic data types and control structures. Students will be asked to do introductory programming in 'C' for a portion of the course.

Credit Restriction: Credit may be obtained for only one of Computing Science 111 or CMPT101
