Cell biology of microorganisms: chemotaxis, secretion, cell walls, and production of toxins. Use of microorganisms in large scale industrial processes and in molecular cloning and protein expression. Prerequisites: Biology 265 or Environmental Science 265 and 2nd year standing required |
