Plant Physiology 3 (3-0-3-0-0)

This course provides an overview of basic life processes in plants at different levels of plant organization. The emphasis is on understanding how plants grow and respond to environmental stresses. Key topics include photosynthesis and carbon fixation, respiration, water relations, mineral nutrition, transport processes, hormonal regulation, and plant-microbe interactions.

Credit Restriction: Credit may be obtained for only one of Biology 342 or Biology 245 or Environmental Science 245

Prerequisites: Biology/Environmental Science 107 and Biology/Environmental Science 108 and (Chemistry 101 or Chemistry 102) and Biology (3L2)
